Ante Lončarić

Dr.Lončarić is Assistant professor at University of Osijek. He received PhD in Food Engineering in 2014 from University of Osijek and since 2011 is employee of Faculty of Food Technology Osijek. Areas of current scientific interests include: antimycotoxigenic and/or antifungal effects of polyphenols in plant material, antioxidant activity, food chemistry and technology.
Dr. Lončarić published 33 published peer-reviewed papers andparticipated in scientific conferences with 47 presentations. Since 2017, he has been a member of the Technical Preparation and Design Committee of the international scientific journal Croatian Journal of Food Science and Technology and also was the guest editor of the scientific journal With food to health. Since 2014, Ante Lončarić spent one month at the University of Bristol: Faculty of Science, United Kingdom dealing and 5 months at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Faculty of Chemistry, Spain, where he worked on NMR techniques for the analysis of plant material and improved polyphenol analysis on HPLC and UHPLC-ESI-MS/MS. He is recipient of “Vera Johanides” Award to a young scientist (2020).
